High-impact decisions on incomplete systems.

Modern player evaluation is fragmented across silos, formats and institutions. TRACE introduces structure before intelligence.
Problem 01
Statistics in isolation
Stats live in silos with no standardized governance.
Problem 02
Development unstructured
Physical and technical progress rarely tracked across seasons.
Problem 03
Context ignored
Life events and injuries never connect to performance.
Problem 04
Documentation scattered
Reports and footage spread across drives, never linked.
Problem 05
Recognition subjective
Career narrative self-promoted, not verifiable.
The answer
TRACE introduces structure before intelligence.
Governance, integrity and standardization come first.
Potential. Performance. Context. Measured. Comparable. Traceable.

Three ratings. One scale. Generational percentiles. Pro benchmarks.
Combine, Game and Player ratings on the same 0–100 scale. Player Rating is the simple average of Combine and Game. Each rating is normalized against the cohort of the player's own generation, and can be visualized against fifteen years of EuroLeague and NBA reference profiles.
03.1 / Potential & generational percentiles
Combine Rating.
Standardized testing, compared against the player's own generation.
- ·8-axis: anthro, reaction, handle, shoot, agility, speed, power, function.
- ·Normalized 0–100 against the same generation cohort.
- ·A 17yo is compared only against other 17yo, never against adults.
- ·Progression across sessions surfaces real development curves.
03.2 / Performance in context
Game Rating.
On-court production analyzed by season, category and generation.
- ·5 axes: scoring, defense, decision, playmaking, 3PT efficiency.
- ·Validated ingestion of official stats, never self-reported.
- ·Own baseline per season, category and generation.
- ·Context-aware: same numbers mean different things by competition.
03.3 / Player rating and tier system
One number. Six tiers.
Player Rating is the simple average of Combine and Game. Each value lands on a tier calibrated by cohort and category.

- ·Player Rating = (Combine + Game) ÷ 2.
- ·Six tiers: Poor, Low, Avg, Good, Pro, Elite.
- ·Boundaries calibrated by percentile within generation and adjusted per category.
- ·The tier badge surfaces in-product: one shared evaluation language across the system.
A governed professional record. Not a social feed.
Every event in a player's career. A combine session, a game, an injury, a transfer, an award. Anchored chronologically on a single spine. Institutional ownership, attached evidence, strict permissions.
